MADISON (WKOW)– A Mount Horeb Police Lieutenant is in the Dane County Jail after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old.
Madison police say officer Dennis Jenks knew the victim personally.
Looking into Jenks’ law enforcement background, it started back in 1996. He hopped around to several departments in the area including Blue Mounds and Dodgeville, but eventually landed a job at the Mount Horeb police department in 2000. He was promoted to lieutenant in 2009.
Those lieutenant duties were suspended immediately following his arrest. Madison police arrested Jenks at his home in the 6600 block of Raymond Road in Madison around 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Officials say Jenks was taken into custody for repeated acts of sexual assault involving a 14-year-old child. Charges are still pending.
Being that the incident happened in the city of Madison, the Madison Police Department is handling the criminal investigation. The Mount Horeb police chief says they will be doing their own internal investigation as well into Jenks’ conduct as an officer.
PT – They need to fry this corrupt copĀ

Whats with all these pedophile cops? I know they lowered the IQ standards to be cop. Does that mean they stopped screening for baby ****ers?
Isn’t it amazing how the cops that follow this site can never answer this question. Instead, when they do post something on this site, they attempt to divert the attention away from the actions of one of their own and remind us citizens that we will never be as important as they are.
